Regenerative organic dairy·Karkloof

Est. 1989

Our family bought this farm in the Karkloof in 1989. We started the dairy in 2014.

Diverse perennial pasture: grasses, clover and chicory

It starts in the soil.

We feed it, cover it, keep it alive — and the grass it grows feeds our cows. The herd grazes outdoors year-round. Calves are born in the pasture and raised on grass and milk. We use no synthetic fertilizers, no pesticides, no GMO feed.

What we don't use, we return — manure, compost, microbes — back into the soil. For us, farming is about life. We try, quietly, to leave it a little better than we found it.
